Synesthethic Locked

Here is a creative and extremely surreal video titled ‘Synesthetic Locked’ by Lorocrom aka Oscar López Rocha, who is also mexican and has been in the animation industry for 8 years. Here is what he has said about this incredible video, ”Synesthesia is the involuntary stimulation of the senses produced by a unexpected source. See sounds, feel colors, hear geometric figures, smell moments… But once you have experienced that kind of sense connections hardly you will be able to perceive something with no associations. You are synesthetic locked.” To see more of his amazing work, go to his website.

Stefan Sagmeister: The Happy Show

I attended yesterday the Art Talk with graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister: "Design and Happiness". Unfortunately there was a big crowd and I ended up listening the talk by live streaming, but we still got to see the exhibit, which I really recommend.

The exhibition mixes film, print, infographics, sculpture and interactive installations. It runs from March 20 - June 9 at LA's Museum of Contemporary Art.

Geometry Addicts

I stumble upon a really interesting site named Geometry Daily. Tilman, an interaction and graphic designer, makes every day a new geometric minimal composition and post it at his tumblog.

Who ever shares the obsession of mine and Tilman for geometry, will really enjoy this¡

"Paths of Hate"

My first post is dedicated to Damian Nenow, director of "Paths of Hate" (2010). I came across this short film as I was doing research to figure out a way for making realistic clouds in C4D, and found it absolutely mind blowing!

"Paths of Hate" is a short tale about the demons that slumber deep in the human soul and have the power to push people into the abyss of blind hate, fury and rage.
